Life St George’s Hospital now offers robotic-assisted surgery for the advancement of patient-centred care. The da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system gives our specialist urologists and colorectal surgeon access to advanced, robotic, computer and optical technologies to assist surgeons in performing minimally invasive surgery. Robotic-assisted surgery has all the advantages of laparoscopic surgery with the benefit of articulating instruments and 3DHD vision. This advanced technologically allows surgeons to expand their capabilities and benefit patients through minimally invasive precision surgery, reduced pain, lower risk of infections, shorter hospital stay and recovery time and very low complication rates due to the smaller incisions.

Our onsite Life Renal Dialysis unit incorporate the latest technology in renal treatment, offering treatment to patients in all stages of kidney failure, from pre-dialysis to chronic dialysis.

This hospital is proud of its world-class cardiac centre that focusses on all aspects of cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery from prevention and diagnosis, to treatment and rehabilitation of cardiac patients.
