A vacancy exists for a TVET Marketing Intern, based at Life The Glynnwood Hospital, reporting to Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the marketing & communications manager to implement the annual marketing strategy for the hospital. Additionally, to provide support to internal stakeholders, collaborating on various projects that promote the hospital’s services.
- Critical Outputs

- Build sound, productive working relationships with key stakeholders i.e., hospital employees, general practitioners and specialists, media, suppliers and the community.
- Update marketing database includes, but is not limited to general practitioner, specialist and insurance databases.
- Assist with implementation of marketing and communications plans, which includes following up with suppliers and distribution of marketing material within the hospital and to doctors’ consulting rooms.
- Assist with the development of informative, brand compliant marketing collateral (e.g. brochures, information leaflets and other internal branded material).
- Assist in monitoring compliance to corporate identity standards, policies and procedures regarding marketing and communication and other collateral throughout the hospital.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of marketing activations and community events.
- Requirements

- Candidate must be finished with their 18 months of theory from a TVET College and now require 18 months of work experience to graduate with a national diploma from a TVET College in Marketing, Public Relations or Communication.
- Interpersonal skills are critical, as productive relationships with stakeholders are important. Other competencies required are analytical thinking, attention to detail, excellent time management skills, the ability to work in a pressured and changing environment and computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
