An opportunity is available for an unemployed graduate to participate in a learner project designed to provide practical work experience aligned with their field of study. This opportunity is offered on fixed-term contract.
We are seeking a graduate in the field of Information Technology to join this learner project at Life Groenklooof Hospital reporting to the Patient Services Manager.
The internship will be registered with HWSETA. Learners will receive a stipend.
- Critical Outputs

The learner will be assisting with work related to one or more of the following:
- SAP Support Services
- End User Computing Support Services
- Hospital Application Support Services
- Security Operations Support Services
- Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity at all times.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, including access control, backups, and disaster recovery
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access in line with governance requirements.
- Support IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

- Grade 12
- Learners must have completed their relevant qualification to participate in this project.
- Learners must be unemployed to qualify for this project.
- Computer proficiency (MS office programs are required)
- Only South African citizens under the age of 35 will be considered.
