A vacancy exists for a Credit Controller, based at Life Wilgers Hospital, reporting to the Patient Services Manager.
- Critical Outputs
-
- Collect Coid (WCA) debt in accordance with Group targets and measurements
- Knowledge of Coid tariffs
- Minimize the bad debt write-off by pro-actively managing the private debtors age
- Proactively manage all injury on duty accounts
- Managing the risk of claims being rejected due to lack of incorrect documentation
- Credit control over private patients
- Compliance with working procedures and quality requirements
- Contribute positively to the team
- Requirements
-
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Credit Control environment
- Sound working knowledge of Credit principles, preferably in Healthcare industry and experience in dealing with COID would be advantageous.
- Minimum Grade 12
- Knowledge of tariff structure and IMPILO and IMEDS will be an advantage
- Candidates will need to be self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Work independently according to targets and under pressure.
- It is important to have an analytical and proactive approach towards debt collection.
- Good communications skills, teamwork and customer orientation are also required of this position.
