Life New Kensington Clinic is centrally located in Johannesburg East and is a specialised healthcare service dedicated to treating and rehabilitating clients who have become acutely disabled by a stroke, major trauma, brain injury, spinal cord injury, or by complex orthopaedic, neurological or medical conditions.
Life New Kensington Clinic offers a 42 bed adult rehabilitation unit, a sub-acute unit for clients needing convalescent care and a 10 bed paediatric rehabilitation unit. This specially designed unit is located in a secure, access-controlled area and allows for one parent or caregiver to stay with the child during rehabilitation.
The complex includes: three fully equipped adult therapy gyms and one paediatric gym; therapy areas for practicing daily skills such as cooking, bathing and grooming etc. The outdoor therapy areas offer wheelchair dexterity training, recreation areas and tranquil gardens.
