A vacancy exists for an Residential Healthcare Worker, based at Life Nkanyisa Kirkwood Care Centre, reporting to Nkazimulo Gwala, Unit Manager. The successful candidates will contribute towards the effective functioning of the unit and ensure quality nursing care to all patients.
- Critical Outputs

Patient Care:
- Implementing health, safety and infection control standards.
- Contribute towards accurate record keeping by reporting any changes in patients’ physical condition.
- Grooming of Patients
- Ensure Rehabilitation by assisting the Rehabilitation teams.
Health Education:
- Participate in health education or learning programmes for the patients, families, communication and staff.
In-service training:
- Participate and attend in-service training.
Material and Human Resource:
- Manage ward stock, accurate inventory and determine material needs.
- Requirements
-
- Grade 12/Matric
- Relevant Homebased/Healthcare worker certificate
- 1 year experience
- Be able to work under pressure
