A vacancy exists for a Finance Graduate Intern at Life Nkanyisa Head office for a duration of 12 months. The position is reports to the Finance Manager, Life Nkanyisa. The successful candidate will be responsible for Finance and administrative duties at Life Nkanyisa Head office
- Critical Outputs

Ensuring effective quality systems management by
- Support and maintain tools to assist reporting to customers.
- Assist FM in auditing database management across the business and monitoring compliance.
- Assist in banking admin and monitor payments.
- Assist with data capturing.
- Assist in the billing process (accurate capturing of invoices and supporting documents)
- Assist in monitoring compliance with company admin policies at facilities.
- Assist in verifying, identifying, and assessing assets per the asset register at all facilities and ensure compliance in safeguarding assets, including vehicles
- Support and participate in internal and external auditing.
- Assist in compiling the monthly agency staff for ensuring deemed employee risk is managed
- Scribing for finance meetings held with external stakeholders.
- Participate and assist Snr bookkeeper in patient admissions recording and controls
- Support FM in drafting formal communications with external stakeholders and clients
- Back up for preparation of journal entries for month-end processing
- Supporting FM in consolidating reports and follow-up for review
- Support FM in reviewing contracts & lease management, monitor compliance in the process to manage them.
- Assist in ad hoc finance projects
- Running reports such as income statements, balance sheet, Imes, COS reports, start and budget reports and any other reports necessary for analytics. and distribute as and when needed.
- Assist FM with ad hoc financial analysis that may require reconciliation
- Support and participate in budget preparation for both Opex and Capex
- Assist with compliance reports and data management
- Assist in maintaining a tracking tool in compliance to contracts with service providers
- Assist in reviewing DOA compliance by the facility and management.
- Assist the Finance manager with dashboard reports
- Support management in ensuring financial/ administrative compliance through internal audits.
- Requirements
-
- Relevant Finance qualification (NQF 7) – Degree, and any additional qualification such as Advanced Diploma or B-Tech will be an added advantage
- Matric/Grade 12
