A Vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse Specialised, based at Life Queenstown Private Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager, Pam Naidoo. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery of uncompromising quality care in line with Company strategic objectives and applicable Health /Nursing legislation.
- Critical Outputs

- Conduct basic duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.
- Ensuring that unit is run according to acceptable legal standards.
- Maintaining excellent individualized patient and customer care in accordance with Life Healthcare standards.
- Maintaining sound relationships and communication with patients, relatives and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Building professional relationships with doctors and therapists to promote patient-doctor interaction.
- Maintaining all Health, Safety and Infection Control Standards.
- To be proactive in ensuring patient safety.
- Always portray a professional attitude towards patients, visitors, doctors and fellow staff members.
- Requirements
-
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in a Specialised Unit is advantageous.
- Registration with SANC
- Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
- Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
