We are seeking a Business Support Specialist on a temporary basis to provide operational and system support across the business. The role will focus on providing functional system support to the Finance team.
- Critical Outputs
-
- Serve as the functional point of contact for accounting and financial reporting systems.
- Support finance users in process execution, issue resolution, and system navigation.
- Collaborate with finance teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with IT for system changes, testing, and upgrades.
- Ensure finance processes are accurately reflected in the system and compliant with policies.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and knowledge regarding the system to all role players.
- Provide efficient user support.
- Assist with new Business Initiatives.
- Provide user guides for Finance processes
- Requirements
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting operations or ERP functional support.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience with ERP (e.g. SAP FI/CO) and Financial Reporting (e.g. BI, OneStream) systems
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
