Vacancies exist for a Porter based at Life Flora Hospital, reporting to Sonja Rossouw, Reception Supervisor. The successful candidates will be part of a professional team that is continuously striving for the highest standards of quality in healthcare.
- Critical Outputs
-
- Be friendly to all customers
- Transport patients from reception to wards and vice versa.
- Transport patients from wards to doctor’s rooms & X-ray
- Check trolleys for cleanliness and whether in need of repairs (maintain good working condition)
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Patient Services Manager during busier periods.
- Deliver correspondence to doctor’s rooms as and when required
- Requirements
-
- Grade 12
- Willingness to work shifts, as well as weekends
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage.
- Physically fit, possess physical strength for heavy boxes, drive and energy
- Experience in working in customer service/dealing with customers
- Experience in working in healthcare will be an advantage
