Introduction

An opportunity exists for 1 unemployed university graduate to participate in a one-year internship with the Nursing College based at Life Healthcare’s Head Office in Dunkeld, Johannesburg.

The project aims to provide the opportunity for an unemployed university graduate who has successfully completed their IT- related qualification to gain work experience in skills development: librarianship and e-Learning development and administration.

Critical Outputs

The internships entail the following:

The internship will be registered with the HWSETA.  The intern will receive a stipend of R 6,000 per month for 12 months.

The intern will gain work experience in:

  • Librarianship

E-Learning development and administration.

Requirements

The graduate must:

  • Be unemployed to qualify for this internship.
  • Have completed an IT related University qualification.
  • Be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
