Banking Assistant (6-month fixed term contract)

A temporary vacancy exists for a Banking Assistant, based at Life Healthcare Head Office in Dunkeld, reporting to Rahiema Hoosain – National Business Partner, Credit Risk. The need for this fixed-term role arises from a temporary increase in work volume necessitated by a new billing system cut-over.  The successful candidate should have strong business acumen and the ability to work within an environment of systems change to support efficient and accurate transaction processing and administration.

Critical Outputs

Assisting with Daily Banking and Remittance allocation:

  • Capturing daily banking transactions.
  • Capturing of remittance advice details.
  • Management of various suspense accounts.
  • Processing of journals (Robotics and SAP).
  • Assisting with debtor reconciliation items.
  • General administration duties.
Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
  • Qualification – Grade 12.
  • Accounting grade 12 or higher, or relevant experience
  • SAP experience essential.
  • Ability to work within a pressurized environment.
  • Understanding of the Private Healthcare industry would be advantageous.
