A vacancy exists for an Administration Clerk, based at Life Kingsbury Hospital, Cape Town reporting to Thembisile Mdini, Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be supporting Facilities Management and ensuring the effective establishment and implementation of Engineering Office and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) at Life Kingsbury Hospital.
- Critical Outputs

- Perform various administrative tasks within the acceptable standards of th engineering department.
- Inspire postive work behaviour in the team.
- Ensure smooth organization and implementation of all administrative requirements
- Managing and maintaining filing and archiving system for the department
- Maintain external service provider database
- Co-ordinate appointments
- Be responsible for the upkeep of maintenance of all ISO/Quality Systems related to job.
- Carry out all reasonable and lawful request
- Meet deadlines/targets as set out by line manager
- Ensure that correct uniform in worn at all times.
- Requirements
-
- Grade 12 minimum
- Strong computer literacy and competence in full Microsoft office suite is essential i.e. outlook, excel, word, project.
- Healthcare technology administration knowledge preferred
- Basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Commitment towards continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and manage time
- Reliable, motivated and hardworking
- Professional with integrity
- Confidentiality and discretion during contact with customers and colleagues.
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
