Cardiac overview

Life Flora Clinic is a cardiac centre of excellence, supported by a group of experienced cardiologists, a cardio-thoracic surgeon and other healthcare professionals. Nursing care is rendered by specialist staff. We focus on the prevention and diagnosis of heart disease, specialised treatment for a wide spectrum of cardiac conditions, and the rehabilitation of our patients. Our specialists are not only known for their expertise and pioneering capabilities but also as respected academics.

Our cardiac facilities

• A 24 hour level 1 trauma and emergency unit capable of handling any form of cardiac emergency
• A high-technology cardiac catheterisation laboratory
• A 4 bed coronary cardiac unit accommodating patients who have undergone procedures in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory, and patients who have acute coronary syndromes or myocardial infarcts
• A dedicated cardio-thoracic theatre
• A 12 bed cardio-thoracic intensive care unit for the care of patients following major cardiac and thoracic surgery
• A cardiac rehabilitation centre where our patients receive post surgery assessments and comprehensive programmes to assist them in their recovery
