Capacity
|
The unit has capacity for 28 adult beds of which 20 are currently being utilised.
Plans are currently underway to ensure the opening of the remaining beds.

Location
|
The stand-alone rehabilitation unit is located opposite Life St Dominic’s Hospital
and in close proximity of Life East London Private Hospital, Frere Hospital and
the central business district. The beautiful garden setting and an undercover outdoor
leisure area provide the ideal environment for patients’ recovery.

Facilities
|
Wards have a homely feel. The therapy area includes two gymnasiums and a quiet therapy
intervention area. Patients also have access to an off-site indoor hydrotherapy
pool. Plans are in the pipeline to incorporate a basketball court for wheelchair
sports as well as additional gym facilities in the near future.
