ISO 9001:2000 certification

Our group has been at the forefront of developing quality standards for the South African healthcare environment. We are the first and only healthcare organisation in South Africa to have achieved firstly multi-site ISO 9001:2000 certification in October 2007, followed by multi-site ISO 9001:2008 certification.

• The ISO standards have been implemented by some 610 000 organisations in over 160 countries. ISO 9001 sets out specific requirements for managing quality, thereby creating a culture of error prevention and continuous improvement, which is the foundation for customer and patient satisfaction.
• Life Rehabilitation is currently the only ISO 9001:2008 certificated networked group of rehabilitation units in the country.
• Life Occupational Health was the first local occupational healthcare business to have achieved ISO 9002 certification.
